The goal of HBCU Summer Fest is to reach all age demographics targeting high school students, current HBCU students, and alums spread throughout the nation. HBCU Summer Fest is for those HBCU alums who can’t wait until homecoming or parents who want their kids to experience the HBCU life without interfering with the school year. HBCU Summer Fest is a series of fundraising events for scholarships and programming under the Educate ME Foundation, Inc. The events are catered to aspiring students, current students, and alums of HBCUs to showcase the relevancy and importance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

HBCU Summer Fest 2017 Yard Fest

CHANCE TO WIN $1500!

Amongst the many events of this historic weekend will be the HBCU Yard Fest. The HBCU Summer Fest 2017 Yard Fest will be like an HBCU pep rally, yard show and tailgate all in one! We are looking for the BEST of the Divine Nine to represent their organization at the Yard Fest for the stroll off!!! The following are the details of the yard show stroll off:

  • HBCU Summer Fest 2017 Yard Fest will be held in Atlanta, GA on August 5th, 2017 from 12pm-6pm at Morris Brown College’s Yard.
  • One organization from each Divine Nine organization will be chosen to represent their greek organization and their HBCU!
  • Each team will have 3-5 minutes for their stroll
  • The winning two teams ( sorority & fraternity) will win a prize of $1500
  • The winning teams will be determined by audience vote
